Man Knelt Down, Prayed Over Puppy That Was Hit And Left In Trash Pile To Perish

A stray puppy was found all alone, covered in wounds, writes ilovemydogsomuch

A woman saw him lying in a trash pile. She called a local rescue group and pleaded with them to come and help him. By the time the rescuers arrived, the puppy was barely alive. He was so close to death that it broke everyone’s hearts. A passerby mentioned that the puppy was hit by a motorcycle and the driver only stopped to then throw his dying body in the trash. Who could be so heartless?!

Once the rescuers arrived, a kind volunteer, kneeled down and told the puppy they would do all they could for him. He vowed to save his life! The man carefully picked the puppy up after praying over him and put him into his vehicle. It was time to get this poor baby the help he so desperately needed.

They headed to the vet clinic where the doctor confirmed that his wounds were a few days old. The puppy had been suffering a long time. It’s mind-boggling how many people passed him by and did nothing at all. The vet didn’t hesitate. He administered an IV with fluids and pain medication.

The puppy just laid there. He felt defeated and exhausted. His sad eyes told his new human friends a lot: his spirit was broken and all he wanted was for the pain to stop. Thankfully the medication worked and the pup was able to sleep.

When he woke up, his eyes told a different story. They had a glimmer of hope in them and that is all his rescuers had prayed for. The puppy needed to be strong in order to survive. Even though he was so young and had never been loved before, he began to have faith in his new friends.

The man that first held the dog decided to foster him. He introduced him to another dog who had also been through a lot and the two dogs became fast friends. Their bond lifted the puppy’s spirit. Dogs are really quite amazing, aren’t they?

The little pup is making tremendous progress. His wounds are improving and he is now eating on his own. His road to recovery will be long, and bumpy along the way, but everyone is confident that he will be okay. We are so relieved he was found in time! To see his rescue, scroll down to the video.
