Scared Pittie Sits Alone In The Road Before Becoming A Big Daddy’s Girl

Cheryl was driving down the road in downtown Detroit when she came across a dog just sitting there, writes ilovemydogsomuch

The Pittie was so afraid and wouldn’t let anyone come to her and just kept barking. The woman couldn’t approach or the dog would run, and she couldn’t leave her there alone. After waiting with the dog for four-and-a-half hours, another rescuer named Trina came by with a gentle slip lead.

When they got the leash around the dog, she started to panic. But these few minutes of stress would be worth it all in the end! The Pittie got all wrapped up in the leash, but this allowed her to just lay there and calm down. She didn’t know it, but this was the beginning of a brand new life.

And that’s when Joseph and Morgan came into the story. They took in Cardi B as a foster, but Dad fell in love with her right away as he lay with her for six hours that very first night. They formed too strong of a bond to let her go, and the couple even moved out of their apartment to better accommodate Cardi! They adopted her for good, and the sweet girl will never be scared and alone again.
