Starving Dog Found Begging For Scraps

A little dog was abandoned in a Starbuck’s parking lot in California, where he spent the day begging for scraps of food. When no one came to claim him, an employee contacted Hope For Paws to rescue the sweet dog.

When Eldad Hagar of Hope For Paws arrived on scene, the little dog come right up to him when he offered him some delicious food. The dog was starving and just wanted something to eat. After feeding the dog some food and gaining his trust, Eldad looped a leash around the dog’s neck.

They returned to his car, where he scanned the dog for a microchip but he did not find one. Meanwhile, the starving dog found the remainder of the chicken tender and quickly devoured it.

To find the perfect name for the sweet pup, Eldad took to Instagram and asked followers for suggestions. The obvious winner was Bean.

Bean was given a warm soothing bath and then examined by a vet. The adorable dog started to come out of his shell and enjoyed all the attention from his rescuer.

A local animal rescue, The Forgotten Dog, stepped up to foster Bean until someone comes to adopt him. The playful pup is looking for a loving forever home. The rescue believes he is an approximately two year old, Doxie/Chihuahua mix. This sweet boy gets along well with other dogs. If you are interested in adopting him you can contact The Forgotten Dog.
