Cats Take In Three-Legged Puppy After His Mother Tried Eating Him At Birth

Nicolas was born the smallest in a litter of eight puppies. And for whatever reason, his mother tried eating him after she’d already eaten three of his siblings. The runt was in a fight for his life when a good Samaritan stepped in and rescued him, writes ilovemydogsomuch

And it would be Ale Oviedo who’d step up and take in the three-legged puppy in an attempt to make his life as normal as possible and to provide him all the love and affection of a real pet. And her cats would also have something to say about the matter!

“I’ve met Nicolas when he was over a week old,” Ale started the story off.

“Nicholas mum ate three of his siblings and was in the process of eating him when someone rescued him”

Ale continued, “Unfortunately, she got to chew his paw off, so he didn’t have a good prognosis”

“That’s when me and my cats started taking care of this tiny bundle of fur”

“My cats adopted him as their own”

“I fed him every 3 hours and changed his bandage everyday”

“The kittens really looked after him as well”

“Gladly, with constant care from me, my cats and my other 5 dogs he turned into a lovely dog!” she said in conclusion.

What a journey for little Nicolas! How lucky for him to end up in the household that he did.
