Cat With Peculiar Appearance Meows For His Life After Car Hits Him & Drives Away
A cat from New Jersey is making international headlines after someone found him lying in a ditch recently. Sadly, the feline was likely hit by a car, but the driver left the poor kitty for dead and to fend for himself, writes ilovemydogsomuch
Thankfully, a good Samaritan saw the cat, took him to an emergency vet, and that’s how he ended up at the Halfway Home Animal Rescue Team. After sharing the cat’s photo online, animal lovers noticed something very unique about his appearance.
“Mr. Marbles has some congenital “defects.” He is VERY small with a slightly big, round head and some funky eyes, which give him that “Grumpy Cat” expression, but he’s perfectly healthy,” the shelter wrote on Facebook. They believe his expression gives him character and that he is super cute exactly the way he is. Although he is an adult cat, he is young and could use someone to teach him love and trust.
The sweet kitty with the white mustache suffered some bruises and a broken tooth, but he did not have extensive damage overall. Mr. Marbles is shy, but the shelter said his personality is wonderful, as he “doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.” After everything he has been through, Mr. Marbles loves laying in his hammock, playing with toys, and getting more comfortable with people who dote on him each day.
