After Multiple Rejections, Pit Bull Starts Making His Own Bed To Win Adopters
When the “SICSA Pet Adoption Center” in Ohio took in a young homeless Pit Bull named “Rush”, they had no idea that the dog had deep fears about being alone, writes ilovemydogsomuch
After surviving all his life on the scary streets, Rush was overwhelmed when the shelter gave him his own bed and blanket.
Every night, Rush would find comfort in his cozy blanket and pray for a forever home. But most visitors rejected him for being a street rescue Pit Bull. The negative word around this breed made them fear that Rush would be wild and aggressive.
Rush was heartbroken every time he got rejected by the visitors. One day, he decided to take matters into his own hands. He pledged to tidy up his living space, and began making his own bed to show that he is a well-behaved fellow!
The shelter shared Rush’s adorable bed-making ritual to their social media, where it soon went viral! People got curious about this well-mannered good boy, and they enquired the shelter about his adoption status!
From among many applicants, the shelter finally chose a suitable couple as Rush’s new parents. The couple had just lost their dog, and Rush’s loyal and loving presence was just what they needed in this difficult time. Rush is no longer a sad pup. He has found his forever family and is going to live the best life from now onward. Good luck, Rush!
