Old Dog’s Back Legs Stop Working, Owner Starts Pool Therapy And It Leads To This Moment
Huskies are very energetic dogs who love to run and play all the time. So when a Husky loses function in his legs, it can be heartbreaking, writes ilovemydogsomuch
Kane is an old Husky, and as with any living creature, with old age comes weaker bones, arthritis, and a host of other problems. Kane suffered a fate worse than weaker bones though. One day, his back legs just stopped working completely.
Even attempting to stand up caused Kane a lot of pain and suffering. The vet said he was too old to have surgery, and pain medications were only a temporary solution. So his owner had to think of some alternative way to help Kane out.
That’s when a brilliant idea hit him. He decided to introduce Kane to water therapy. Every day he would take Kane for a swim in his pool. The weightlessness of the water meant that Kane could move and be pain-free!
All it took was a couple of days of pool therapy and Kane began to show signs of improvement. Soon, Kane’s legs started working again and he was able to walk again. What a miracle!
It’s both beautiful and amazing to watch the trustful dog lovingly float in the arms of his dad.
