Woman Hears Neighbor Brutally Abuse Tiny Pup With Belt & Fears Pooch May Be Dead

Animal abuse has become all too rampant and common these days. Fortunately, the Internet has become a place for people to share videos of suspected and convicted animal abusers. One such case involves a man in New Delhi, India, who is accused of repeatedly beating a five-month-old puppy until he nearly died. When the video was first uploaded to Twitter, the user, @sukritic1, wrote, “This is a video from sector 100 Noida and the sound you are hearing is of a five-month-old Labrador puppy that has been beaten with a belt- his thighs are broken and severe injuries on intestinal and genital areas.”
People quickly chimed in and the video went viral. According to media sources, within hours, the puppy was rescued from his alleged abuser, Rishabh Mehra. It is alleged that Mehra tried to bribe police officers to save himself from being arrested. However, in another tweet, @sukritic1 said the way the abuser was booked did not ensure his arrest. She also has care of the puppy, named Buddy.
Buddy is secure but will now need long term support- which we will give him. Like I said his arrest is priority today,” @sukritic1 wrote.
