A puppy abandoned in a trash bag and left to die was rescued by kindhearted people and given the best fighting chance to survive writes theanimalrescuesite.com
Rescuers with S.O.S Pets got a notice of a dog abandoned in a pile of garbage and quickly went to investaige.
When they arrived at the scene, they found the poor dog tied in a trash bag on the side of the road, laying lifelessly amongst garbage.
They immediately jumped into action to get the small dog out of the bag and see if she was ok. It wasn’t hard to see that she was extremely weak and sick, and they weren’t sure if she’d survive long. It’s possible her previous owners had dumped her in the garbage assuming she would die anyway.
After getting her out of the bag, she began to convulse and looked as if she were about to die. Thankfully, the rescuers didn’t give up on her like her previous owners did.
Somehow, the little dog survived the ride home where she was given a blanket and a comfortable place to sleep.
For days, the poor thing convulsed and lay sick. It seemed as if she would die any day, but her saviors continued to nurse her back to health. They bottle-fed her and did everything they could to give her another chance at life.
Despite how weak she was, the little dog slowly began to get a tiny bit better day by day. It took a while, but she was eventually able to walk!
Her healing journey didn’t stop there since she was still rather sick, underweight, and refused to socialize.
After a month, she was noticeable stronger and even looked healthy! The little pup was still terrified of humans, but it seems she began to trust the ones who saved her life. Without their persistence and care, we can only imagine what would’ve become of her.
“We received news that a dog was abandoned in the landfill, we arrived and found that the poor little dog was having a convulsion, he was very sick, maybe that’s the cause. the owner has abandoned him, doesn’t care about him…,” they said.
