Playful, Friendly, Young Dog Poised To Spend Second Christmas Alone At Shelter
A dog from Scottsdale, Arizona is asking Santa Claus to bring him something very special this year. Instead of spending a second Christmas at the Foothills Animal Rescue, Sarge simply wants to find a forever home with someone to love him, writes ilovemydogsomuch
Sarge arrived at the shelter before Christmas last year, and sadly no one has shown an interest in the fun, young, playful pooch. The fact that he’s still in a shelter for this long baffles his rescuers.
“We are just trying to make this extra special for him,” a Foothills volunteer shared, “because it is heartbreaking that he has been with us for so long.”
One look at Sarge and we know he’d make the perfect pooch for the right person. He’s received special command training at the shelter and really loves to play with dog toys. The folks at a local news station did an on-site story about Sarge hoping to get him a forever home for the holidays. Like millions of other shelter pets, Sarge hopes Santa Paws will answer his Christmas wish.
Anyone who is interested in adopting Sarge should contact the Foothills Animal Rescue by vising their website or Facebook page. I Love My Dog reminds our readers to reach out to your local shelter or pet rescue groups if you are interested in bringing a dog into your life. There are millions of awesome dogs waiting for their forever homes who are just a mouse click away.
