Jordan and Kris quickly developed a special bond. Jordan was heartbroken after Jordan sadly passed away in 2018 after a battle with cancer.
He wanted to honor her life by helping as many shelters in need as possible, so he decided to create a foundation called Jordan’s Way.
His mission is to raise money and donations for shelters to help feed as many dogs as possible. He also wants to rais awareness for shelter animals and to show the world what it is like to live in a homeless shelter.
In 2019, Kris slept in a kennel alongside several abandoned pups for 72 hours. And now, he is doing the same with the Northshore Humane Society in Louisiana, where he wants to showcase their efforts and raise much-needed funds for the 200+ homeless animals in their care, while giving the pooches some comfort and company during the night.
